What is Grip Strut Safety Grating?
Grip Strut Safety Grating, also called Grip-Span Grating, is a multifunctional, one-piece, plank-type grating panel.
Grip Strut Safety Grating is made out of a single plate of carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminum alloy, which forms both the non-slip diamond shaped openings, serrated surface, and the load-supporting continuous channel at either side.
In terms of Grip Strut Safety Grating, maximum slip resistance in all directions is provided by a heavily serrated, diamond matrix walking surface that enhances workplace safety.

Our Grip Strut Safety Grating panels are available in material types as below, and briefly their unique performance characteristics are as follows:
(1) Carbon Steel
This material offers excellent strength and load-bearing capacity at an affordable price point. Prolonged exposure to moisture may cause corrosion and degradation, making it suitable for applications shielded from rain, snow, and high humidity.
(2) Galvanized Carbon Steel
This material is carbon steel that is coated with a protective zinc layer. So it exhibits the same performance characteristics as standard carbon steel but has enhanced resistance to corrosion and degradation. Galvanized carbon steel is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications where moisture may be present.
(3) Stainless Steel
This material provides elevated strength and resistance to corrosion, and the most widely used are stainless steel 304 and 316. Stainless steel is perfect for indoor and outdoor applications where exposure to moisture and harsh chemicals is common.
(4) Aluminum Alloy
This material offers a high strength-to-weight ratio and capable of withstanding moisture and chemicals, and the most widely used is alloy 5052 H32. Aluminum alloy is perfect for indoor applications where mass and corrosion may be a concern.
